The Clarke Design Online Store (CDStore) is an online shopping cart system based around established and widely adopted web based technologies. The software is script-based and combines readily with a variety of standards compliant database formats.

Once you have logged into your administration system, the admin bar will be displayed to allow you to maintain the store. Every page you visit changes the features available. With just a click of a button on the admin bar, you can update site news, modify a product, tweak at category, change a price, update a photograph...

You naturally want to be able to manage your store yourself. No problem. CDStore allows you to manage every aspect of your store; Categories, products, prices, photographs, configuration, shipping, orders, customers, affiliates and every single piece of text within your store.

Stock tracking can be enabled or disabled for items on an individual basis. You choose which items you want to track and which items you don't.
The number in stock is adjusted each time an item is purchased and when the stock reaches zero, can automatically display as 'out of stock', preventing further customers from adding them to their basket.
CDStore provides graphical statistics for page views on products as well as sales. The statistics pages dynamically displays data by month, category and product, allowing you to view trends and compare what you are selling with where people are looking.

Every customer has their own account within your store. You can use these records to manage your customers, apply discounts to them, turn them into affiliates or approve them for trusted purchases via a purchase order system.
You can allow your customers to review your products. You may choose to have these automatically added to their associated products or be reviewed by you before they are posted.
Multiple secure users can be configured so that different people within your organisation can manage the different aspects of your store.
This is the "junction box" of the whole system and contains most of the switches to configure the commonly used elements of your store. Some are checkboxes, some lists and some free format text.
Over 400 individual settings ensure that every aspect of the store can be configured exactly as you want it. With the click of a mouse your store can so easily be changed.
You can configure your site to use multiple currencies and multiple languages.

Configure your site to ship only to the destinations (countries or regions) you choose. Along with this, create shipping zones based on a number of methods of shipping to give your customers the choice of how they receive their products.
You choose how to charge for shipping; create bands of shipping based on either the price of their order or the total weight you are shipping to them.
Tracking customer referrals from your affiliate sites is automatic, so you can see which sites are referring your best customers. The system will even work out how much commission (if any) needs paying to each affiliate.
You can use special promotional codes to entice customers to spend a little more within your store. Give them 10% off their first order, £15 off in March, it's up to you. Use general coupons in adverts or give individual coupons to specific customers.
